My life had been flipped upside down so many times and so many times I would just run away. What happens when you get tired of running?

Do you get tired of running? Do you not want a life of peace and serenity? Why would you keep putting yourself in the position to run?

I have heard these so many times and so many times I have said “it is hard to explain to someone who anxiety, depression or PTSD does not have, OCD, ADD, all the acronyms.”

The truth is, that is what the devil wants us to believe! That no amount of therapy, or sharing could restore us. He is a LIAR.

We can explain what it feels like to be in that moment, we can talk about our fears and our past. What happened to us does NOT define us, we are not the sum of those moments.

We can move past them and have Peace! How?

Grace! God’s grace and mercies are new every morning. That means he gives us just enough to make it through the day, but only with him. We cannot survive without him.

I could not have made it here without him! I took every medication known to man. Prescribed and some non-prescription. It only masked the hurt and pain, it numbed me from actually feeling anything. I did not want to feel so bad that I did not realize that i had actually stopped feeling everything.

Love, passion, friendship, true companionship, the things I was doing turned it all off!

I am not saying that prescribed medication is bad, because it is NOT BAD, medication is necessary, and it helps! It helped me, but it was not enough! I sought out extra things to make the hurt and pain leave, those are the things that I replaced with the goodness of God and I found freedom, I also sought out to research and find natural ways to help me with depression and anxiety.

Like the fish in the ocean, we are all different. What works for one, may not work for another. Everyone fights a battle, but how they fight are different. The thing that is the same, is we have the same enemy, and we can fight him together!

The bible say that where two or more or gathered there I shall be, that means that when we gather together and we praise God for all he has brought us through that he is there with us. When we are together and we pray for one another, he is there, when we gather together to talk to one another he is there.

We were not created to walk alone in anything, Genesis 1 the beginning of it all, God saw that man was lonely and gave him woman, he told them to be fruitful and multiply.

Being fruitful is producing goodness and sharing it with others, duplicating the goodness that God has done for us by sharing our strengths and hopes with those who are struggling.

When things change, we adapt, we may be a bit unstable at first, but we learn to trust that God will work all things together for good for those that love him. We may be in a place that we did not see ourselves but here we are. it’s scary and new, but it is the season that we are in. This one is no different than any other, we hang on, buckle up and get ready for whatever God is doing because even when we cannot see or feel it, he is doing something, and it is going to be good.

When things change, trust the Lord! Trust that he is good, that he has a plan for you. Trust that he is working all things for your good. Trust that he has you in the palm of his hand.

I know that it is hard, I know that you are reading this thinking that I have it all together. I do not! I am afraid, I do not know what God is doing in my life right now. I have no idea where he is taking me or what the plan is. What I do know is that he knows the plan, and that plan has not changed.

No matter how scared I am He has NO FEAR!

I know that he wins in the end, that at the end of it all he will reign, and the truth will be told, I know that the devil is running scared right now, and he is trying to convince us all that his way is the best way.

The world is scary and crazy, but when things change one thing remains unchanged, the word of the LORD

He never changes, he is consistent and constant
